Thrombogenesis

Eccet is capable of processing 4D datasets, The sample on the right shows how thrombi grow during the clotting of blood.

The data on which the animations are based were acquired using a laser scan fluorescence microscope which acquired 3d volume data for a series of points in time.

The visualization was done to allow for ananyzing the growth of thrombi in flowing blood.
